This BK_BR44.zip files contains the class 44 Steam Locos # 44 195 oil and # 44 225 coal of the Deutsche Reichsbahn, as well as one special wagon Slmmp.
The train was created with 3D Canvas Pro and Micrografx Picture Publisher by Bernd K. Diehl, Murnau Germany alias BeeKay Virtual Art and is freeware under the terms and conditions stated at the end of this text.
The photorealistic Cab of the BR64, available at various download sites, can be used for these class 44 locos as well.
Included is a small sound pack with the original whistle of the class 50. Credits go to Jrg Seebohm (JoeC0101@T-online.de).
Many thanks go as well to Micha Bhn for his invaluable help with photos and information.

INSTALL:
To install the train, please doubleclick on the unzipped BK_BR44.EXE
Thats all. Only browse to the highest level of your trainsim.
E.g.:
C:\Programme\Microsoft\Trainsim or
D:\MyTrains

GENERAL INFORMATION:
I installed a "chain" coupler with this train, as it is standard in European Railways, but if you use US "automatic" couplers with your rolling stock, just search for the word ( chain ) in the .eng or .wag files and replace it with ( automatic ), that's all.

ADDITION:
Due to the many details, you have to set in the display options' menu the slider for train objects to maximum (3), as usual for my trains.
However, for the first time I didnt use 1024 pixel files with my steam locos, so the train should run with all grafic-adapters.

All SOUND and needed CABVIEW files are aliased.
DO NOT copy anything from any sound or cabview folder. Just make sure that the standard Microsoft locos are installed (normally by default, when installing MS Train Simulator).

ACTIVITY:
This train-package again includes an activity, playing on the Route Innsbruck - St.Anton. Your task is to help another heavy freight train to climb the hills.
The AI train will only proceed its way, after you backed up a small amount. Please follow it afterwards and push it from behind. Normally it will only run max 20 km/h. If you carefully approach the AI train with a speed difference not exceeding 3 km/h the front coupler will not connect to the train and you will have a real feeling of pushing it across the mountain.
If you couple to the AI train, both locos are under your control. Please check it out. Use as well sanding to increase adheasion.
Have fun.
